Nothing plays sound in aviutl ONLY ? or PC ?


Make sure in aviult you didn't mute the audio, or check filter+ => volume level; there is separate control for volume in playback window also

Had to re-install it. Now it works, not sure what happened!

nothing is really "installed" with aviutl, did you mean just re-download the package ?

anyways, glad it's working - it's scary to lose previous work!

I wonder if just deleting the Aviutl.ini would have fixed it? Well if it ever gums up for me, I'll see.....

This is the second report I notice concerning a sudden breakdown of AviUtl... while I didn't ever get this myself even with tons of debug-mode plugins....
really puzzling.

If anyone encounter this problem, please submit the following to the "AviUtl support thread" in the "Editing" board:
1> aviutl.ini
2> exedit.ini
3> MD5 of: aviutl.exe, exedit.auf and lwinput.aui
4> Whether it will work again if you copy just aviutl.exe and exedit.auf to another folder and run from the new folder
5> Whether loading a simple Uncompressed AVI (Progressive) with PCM audio works normally
6> OS and the Antivirus software you're using
7> System locale for non-Unicode program
