    Which codec should I install for subtitle workshop 6b? I installed LavFilters but there is no video in sw only sound. Should I install a codec pack?

    I don 't know why the preview doesn't work but many noobs' first impulse is to install some crap 3rd party codecpack when something doesn't work. PIling more codecs on is an excellent way to make your system worse. Find out why the preview doesn't work. What program does it call to do it?
