Want to edit some of my blu-ray rip/conversions to mkv, I want to remove some audio tracks and maybe reconvert the audio from DTS-MA to DTS core, is there a simple way to do this or is it better to just rip and convert the whole blu-ray again? (takes about 4 hours to do it all again)

Just had a look at that program, didn't look like it could do what I want it to.
I've found I can use mkvmerge (happily, already had it installed) to strip audio and subs I no longer want, assuming it doesn't cause sync issues? (I have no idea why it would)
But my main problem is wanting to process just the audio in an mkv file. Handbrake seems to open the file just fine, but I can't see any option to just process/remove the HD from the audio, is that possible? What if I set the CRF to 0? -
Handbrake doesn't allow video pass-through and you didn't specify which container formats your rips are stored in at the moment. You can try CRF 0, assuming you have a whole lot of hard drive space to waste.
How about using MKVMerge to convert the files to MKV, then use MakeMKV to convert DTS-MA to DTS?
(If you have DTS-MA then you're source is either m2ts (or some other ts) or MKV anyway which MakeMKV should be able to handle by itself, unless you striped the m2ts away from its Blu Ray structure, of course.) -
Simple and quick solution.
1. Using MKVMergeGui remove any unwanted tracks
2. Using Popcorn Audio Convertor convert the audio - does the audio in-situ
Or using gMKVExtractGUI extract the audio and then using an audio editor/covertor of choice change it to the format you need then back to mkvmergegui and put the new audio track in and remove the old one...
I do this fairly regularly and so far no loss of syncSONY 75" Full array 200Hz LED TV, Yamaha A1070 amp, Zidoo UHD3000, BeyonWiz PVR V2 (Enigma2 clone), Chromecast, Windows 11 Professional, QNAP NAS TS851
