Is there a way to take an mp4 file with aac audio, edit the audio volume so certain parts are louder, some are quieter (say I just want to mute a section), without transcoding/re-encoding the video stream? I don't really care if the audio has to be re-encoded.
I'm sure something like Premiere could do this, but are there any free/cheap tools that'll do the job?

It's possible to do that byFor the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".
