OK, now I have Glidecam 2000 for 5 lb video camera and I'm getting better to boss it.
For family video, I use mirrorless camera with HD video capturing feature. I am thinking to get one light weight stabilizer like SevenOak (http://www.amazon.com/Sevenoak-SK-W02-Steady-Stabilizer-Camcorders/dp/B00GT9VZAU). However, I'm not sure if light weight stabilizer is able to provide good stabilization like sled style Glidecam after reading some articles, despite it's really handy for family video.
I am looking for advice if those c-shape stabilizer is good for small size mrrorless camera, or it's better off to put it back to Glidecam.

Sled-types will always be better at minimizing vibration than "C"-types, because of greater mass & moment of inertia (and because of better gimballing). I would strongly suggest testing one out in person before buying...
