Hi,
While extracting audio in MP3 from a 3gp video file, the audio file is bigger than the video file. A 1.1 MB video file gives a 1.7 MB audio file! I did it though VLC (Convert/Save...). It is often so extracting audio from other video formats. How to reduce the audio file size?
Thanks for the reply.

VLC reconverted the audio with higher audio bitrate. Lower the bitrate for smaller output file size.

Or try extract the audio from the 3gp with something else like pazera free audio extractor.

Thanks Super Mod for your reply.

Is there an alternative of Pazera free audio extractor for Linux?
