Weird vegas avc to xvid encoding problem text in video file

I loaded an avc mp4 file into vegas movie studio 12, all looked well. I need to convert so it can play on my dvd player so I used xvid. Look at what happened to the entire more. This clip is a few seconds but these weird texts are in the entire output file and NOT in the source or the preview window. In addition, I loaded the video into virtualdub using directshowsource and it worked fine but vegas is doing this to it.

Don't know about newer versions of vegas, but that looks like frame/timing info. Try to disable the closed captions/subtitle track and any kind of overlay display in your project settings.
