  1. I loaded an avc mp4 file into vegas movie studio 12, all looked well. I need to convert so it can play on my dvd player so I used xvid. Look at what happened to the entire more. This clip is a few seconds but these weird texts are in the entire output file and NOT in the source or the preview window. In addition, I loaded the video into virtualdub using directshowsource and it worked fine but vegas is doing this to it.

  2. Don't know about newer versions of vegas, but that looks like frame/timing info. Try to disable the closed captions/subtitle track and any kind of overlay display in your project settings.
