I need to convert a film from 30p to 24p, I have done this using Cinema Tools but the problem that I have is the audio for the film. The audio for the film slows down as well. Is there a way to pull down the video to 24 without the audio slowing down? Many thanks.

  2. No. Duplicate your original file and handle the audio separately.

Thank you for replying. How exactly?

  4. I'm making a LOT of assumptions based on the limited information you've given.

Duplicate your original files whatever.mov to whaterver_copy.mov
Use Cinema tools to change the frame rate on one of them.
Drop both versions into FCP7 (Cinema Tools is almost always used with FCP -- so, a reasonable guess.)
Stack them on a timeline and delete the audio and video you don't want.

If any of this doesn't apply to your situation, please be much more explicit about what you are hoping to accomplish.
