    Hello

    Can anyone please recommend a fast, but good Video Editor with transition special effects feature, blending/fading one clip into another.

    Thanks

    Video files? That covers a lot of formats and a lot of codecs. It's best to stick with smart-rendering editors that can accept many formats. There are free ones around, but you can forget the better features with freebies and most of them won't handle smart-rendering.

    Fairly Good: Adobe Premiere Elements https://www.videohelp.com/tools/Adobe-Premiere-Elements . Typical UK vendor here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Adobe-Premiere-Elements-12-Mac/dp/B00EWH8AMM

    Better: SONY Movie Studio Platinum https://www.videohelp.com/tools/Vegas-Movie-Studio . Typical UK vendor here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Movie-Studio-HD-Platinum/dp/B008RVQMOW

    These two offer free trial versions at their UK websites. You appear to be a beginner, so be aware that most competent editors with decent features that make a lot of processing decisions for you require a learning curve.

    May be he has only experienced on VDub, AviDemux or WMM and never tried any NLE (probably never heard of the term "NLE")

    @Teac23
    A Lot of NLE can do that, go to the Software> Advanced Editor/NLE section to find one you are comfortable with.
