Multi-Camera Live Music Shooting

Anyone have some good advice on how to pull this off? I'm relatively new to doing this and really want to figure out how to pull it off. Also, I'm sure that the editing software is important to merge clips of video from the different camera views together. I heard WonderShare is a good one, and relatively inexpensive. Any advice and insight is appreciated.

Here's a good example of what I'm talking about. 1 Audio track, 2-3 cameras shooting footage. One of the camera's obviously has control of the audio as well. How does this work?????
