Hi cats,
I have note that using the same source, virtualdubMOD is slower that virtualdub when I save the same ouput. Do you know why? is there a remedy?

	VirtualDubMod is old, outdated, and no longer being developed. Of course it's going to be slower than VirtualDub, which is still being maintained and optimized.

	Yes, there is a remedy, 
 please learn some Assembly language and optimize the source-code of VirtualDubMOD 
 
 Besides, don't forget to update its Matroska reader and writer

	are you referring to particular revision of VDubMod? I use VirtualDubModplus 1.7.8 and never experienced significant difference...
