Hey guys, I was just trying to make a little timelapse for something to do, and I sped the original up 4x. When I watch the rendered it looks fine, but as soon as I import it into Vegas again it has broken pixels/glitches. I wanted to speed it up even more to get it down to about a minute but for some reason Vegas really doesn't want to do it properly. Is there any reason for this? Or possibly any way around it?

This is the footage sped up 4x, as you can see it looks fine. It stays this way until imported into Vegas again:

And this is the footage sped up once again, notice the glitches in the video. They aren't there in the 4x video until I put it in Vegas, they seem to be there before I edit it any farther.

I'd really appreciate any help I can get!

Try a less compressed codec like Mpeg2. Or try transcoding the original video to Mpeg2 before changing and rerendering anything.

Those glitches look like a compressed codec artefact anomaly. You'll never know what it is or why. Best you can do is try to skin the cat from a different direction.
