  1. i am completely in the dark. i dont know where to ask this question if this is not the right place to do so could someone perhaps suggest a blog or forum that could help me with this.

my problem is that my sister recently bought a canon mfp 8280 cw printer. the printer installed. before testing the printer for color prints i installed the driver for the samsung s22d300 led monitor. it caused the primter to print the green colors in blue.

the driver for the monitor came on a cd with manuel.

how do i uninstall this driver and get the original driver for intel hd to be the device again? ?

in the color management setup it removed the intel hd as an option in the device list and now has many other options except the one i would like to have back.

we are running windows 8 and it has not been updated to windows 8.1

if this is not the right place to ask this question could someone perhaps suggest a blog. i am desperate to solve the problem as my sister is in the process of opening an internet cafe and photography studio and we need the printer to operate correctly to print photograph at exactly the correct colours for photographs.

    any help would be great.

    thank you very much.

ps. i have absolutely no color management knowledge or experience.

pps is there a section on this forum that specifically deals with these kind of questions ?

With Windows 8, you could just go to 'Control Panel>Device Manager>Monitors and 'Uninstall' the driver. Reboot and you should be back to the generic driver. I rarely install monitor drivers from the disc that comes from them. But it depends on the OS of the computer. W8 monitor drivers should be OK by themselves. If all this fails, you may need to calibrate your printer.

And this forum is OK for your question.

    And welcome to our forums.
