    8) I finally ripped my first dvd, man does it take for ever to format. I should've just bought it. Well anyways I made it to two vcd's and then it made it into full screen mode where it looks stretch. It was in widescreen. Does anyone know how to keep it widescreen?

    for source aspect ratio in tmpgenc...u should enter either 16:9 or 4:3....dvd2avi has an info box that will tell you this....

    also, for image positioning method...choose full screen (preserve aspect ratio)

    as for your output video, choose 4:3 NTSC if you're gonna watch it on regular TV
