  1. is there a way of cutting mts files and joining the pieces that you want without a lipsync problem ??

    preferably freeware if possible.

  2. Sony camcorder files work very well with Sony Vegas Movie Studio. It's not free, but will do what you want, correctly, with minimal hassle.
