Hi and wellcome all the cats,
on my system I have installed a directshow filter
The Accusoft Mjpeg codec
when I use Mainconcept Totalcode 3.1 I can open a mjpeg .avi file using the Accusoft Mjpeg directshow filter only if previously I have install LAV Splitter
If I uninstall LAV splitter, Totalcode cannot open my mjpeg .avi file
<---- I wonder: can I force the use of the Accusoft Mjpeg directshow filter so that the system use it ALWAIS it and no others?
I would not risk that another installation or another program go to change the default decoder for MJPEG avi files (avi video files that have the tag "MJPG") so I would like do a .reg or a batch file (that I put on boot of windows 8.1) that force the use of my preferred codec and no other codec. Is it possible also without keep LAV Splitter? thanks
