I've noticed with this version that FF/RW work better than the previous betas on SVCD

Does this have to do with the file system ordering?

On the other releases the order was similar to Nero's and hence my FF/RW worked similar. Instead of the correct 20 secs at a time it would advance at different times 5,10,40,10 so on, unless presented with a CBR mpeg2 @ 2600kbits.

yeah, its about the picky firmware which requires some strange file ordering...

btw, a bug slipped through in 0.7.8,
vcdimager.exe (bu not vcdxbuild.exe!), triggers an assertion, if it is used without any --add-dir or --add-file option...

this bug is annoying, but a minor one, since u usually either add the CD-i app for VCDs, or an empty SEGMENT dir for SVCDs *g*
