    Most of the time I have no problem playing an avi movie in my dvd player that has been converted from mp4 but occasionally I get a codec missing error. Is there an easy way to fix this? Thanks!

    What do you convert with?

    Be sure to not use any HD frame size/resolution. Stay around 720x576 pixels or lower.

    Baldrick, I kept the same resolution as the original mp4 which was 1280x536 so it seems like that was my problem. Thanks for the speedy reply and that info!
