Problems With A Bluetooth Wireless Controller (PS3)

I bought a Bluetooth wireless controller to use with my PS3 and I can use it to browse options on the dashboard thing but the controller doesn't work for playing video games. Why is that? I tried to use the Manage Bluetooth Options to register my controller but the scan is endless as if it's not really scanning. Why is that? Thanks.

Ask Daddy to buy you a new one. That'll fix that mean ole' problem.
