I have two mpg files. specific format doesnt really matter for the question.
They can be converted to whatever if needed.

One of these videos is a presentation that displays a small white rectangular window in the middle of the video for the entire duration of the video(othere stuf going on around that white window)..it used to load up the 2nd video in side as part of a c++ program but thats irrelevant now.
Basically i want to overlay/merge these two..
So the first video with the white box in the middle can be changed so that it will have the 2nd video sized the same as the white box and overlayed on top of the first..
Is that a crappy explanation or what ? :)

Anyway.. what software do iI need to do this.. I have premiere at the moment and either cant find where you can do it.. or you just cant with that bit of software.

Any help at all would be appreciated as its drving me nuts..

    Thanks,

    Kev

    Hi..

So as I understand it you want the 2nd video to be displayed where the white box is on the 1st video.

If that is the case you can use Ulead's MediaStudio or VideoStudio (Trial versions are downloadable). You'll want to use the Motion Path feature. I believe there was a tutorial on the Ulead web site with something very similar to this (http://www.ulead.com/learning/vs.htm).

Premiere should also be able to do it but I don't use it enough to be able to tell you how.
