having problems with avermedia h727

Hi

I'm streaming avermedia capture secondary in xsplit

and avermedia capture in obs (open broadcaster software)

after about 1-2 hours of streaming there will be fuzzy lines on the capture, and the picture freezes. then it crashes my whole computer as xsplit and obs refuse to close via task manager.

Any ideas whats going on?

Just to let you guys know how I fixed the problem......


I moved the avermedia h727 card to my spare pci-express x16 slot. Now there is no freezing and it works perfectly.

I'm using a gigabyte motherboard, so if you have problems with the pci-express x1 slot try the x16 and it will work great.
