I installed divx 5 codec and it won't recognize in any of my encoder programs like DIVx... :evil: I don't understand I install them as they come from the site in the self installing .exe's and at my computer at home it recognize... but here my computer in my dorm it won't; I don't unstand what I'm doing wrong if I am doing something wrong... but i'm running on Windows XP Pro and trying to rip a dvd to divx can anyone help me out?

some computers don't like divx 4 or 5 i use nimo 4.4 cause it loads divx 3 and 4 with some other helpful codecs and files... its all uninstallable from one location.... (windows uninstall Nimo)
