Hi,I hope this section fits my question.
I am starting a new educational based website.
Contents are only audio and video files.
Contents will be uploaded on another mirrors like Archive.org for audio and video or Youtube for videos ... and so on.
Please I asking for an advise for the tool to use in the website for contents.
I want something simple and clean and search engines friendly, something that is good for the long run usage.
I have been confused between using a forum software and organize it in a form of topics and forums and lock it and only add some other forums for comments and so on.
Or to use wordpress or something else?
I will set contents to be organized in sections and sub sections ... two or three levels maximum.
So please advise.

For just a player in the website you could look at http://www.jwplayer.com/learn-more/
But much easier to just embed your youtube videos in your website. Less bandwidth for your website that way and more reliable then trying to stream from your website. (and less work for you)Last edited by TreeTops; 26th Jul 2014 at 13:39.

To learn it, do you mean to create a web site? If so, just google for help on the type of site you want. Wordpress is easier than the other two you mentioned. But I have always created websites using HTML. Most web hosts have free tools for that and they have templates that make it easier.
But in your subject title you ask about how to do a video in a website and I have answered that question.Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence -Carl Sagan -

Pick a host that has good tools. Good hosts have sample web page(s) for you to use. Not much effort on your part except to change their words to your words.

I want to use something pre-made and customize it.
