This maybe a dumb question but I'm curious to know if there are any differences in "physical" size of the DVDs and VCDs? Given a DVD and VCD/CD disc without any labels, how could we tell which is which?

if you are talking about a copy then the colour of the dye is easy way to tell most cdrs are green or blue dye while dvdr i purple dye
