I know this is a video help forum, but many here are also into audio. I am searching for a stereo receiver with FM radio with a graphic equalizer. I used to have a Scott 300watt with a 10-band graphic equalizer that finally died on me. Foolishly I pitched it thinking I could buy another. I have discovered that modern audio receivers no longer have equalizers built in, just Bass & Treble generic controls. With my old Scott I could tweak the sound until the highs were brilliant and the bass rumbled (with no distortion). Not any more.
I bought a Beringer multi-band equalizer, then discovered that there is no way to run the local FM stations through it, only through the CD player. We listen to FM radio a lot. I have searched around, asked around, and come up with zip.
Anyone know of any manufacturer that still makes these?

Sorta cheap priced but may work for Lo-Fi FM listening. Don't take much for FM since it's quality is is quiet low compared to other sources.

Thanks..... interesting, the user reviews on this unit are all over the map. Some are madly in love, many hate its guts. I get the feeling that there is not good quality control at whatever factory in Asia that makes these, so the consistency is iffy.
