I've recently found out my video camera can only record at 25FPS, there's no way to change it from what I can tell. But I was hoping to use records from it in conjunction with NTSC footage, naturally when I render this in Vegas I need to choose which framerate to go with and it'll possibly cause ghosting or other problems in either my recording, or the NTSC stuff I'm working with.

So I'm hoping there's a good way to convert?

There is, particularly for DVD (no mention of the output format or even if the footage is progressive or interlaced), but probably not by using Vegas entirely.

  3. Without 3rd party plugins, vegas can only do blends or duplicates with frame rate conversions. If you disable "smart resample" you will get duplicates = no "ghosts" . The default is smart resample enabled so you get blends = "ghosts"

Oh right sorry, er, the format my camera records in is MTS... or M2TS, one of those. It records at Full HD but I'll probably only record at 720P
