Ok here is my problem. Anytime I try to convert a file, whether its divx to mpeg or divx to divx or whatever, my computer will just shut down by itself. But the weird thing is that it shuts down at the same point everytime, when the output file reaches exactly 16 mb. I've never had a problem like this before and I have no idea what could be wrong. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Make sure you don't have any sleep or power saving options turned on. Also, make sure you don't have any hybernation mode active. It will crash the PC alsmost every time.
Right click on the desktop, and look for Properties, Screen Saver, Energy saving. Turn it all OFF! Never use Sleep mode eigther.
