  2. I recently intalled a Pinnacle Studio Deluxe card with the Studio 7 software. Capture quality is much better than my old MJPEG card and video quality has been very good. No problems with lip-syn, my 45 minute capture came out surprising very well. I using a Althon 1800XP system with Windows 2000 and lots of Hard Drive space.

I recently purchased the same card with similar results. The new Studio Deluxe AVDV captures at 720x480 (NTSC) and converts the analog video to DV AVI. This is one of the best av captures you can get.

The Studio 7 software is great for beginners. I've just started working with Vegas Video after reading alot of glowing reviews on forums, newsgroups, etc. I find it much better than the Pinnacle software but you still need Studio 7 to capture.
