VCD or SVCD??

I have a divx file I want to convert to play in my dvd player....it supports both SVCD and VCD..

Which format should I convert my divx file to???????

I know that the SVCD with TMPGE takes like 15 hours...VCD takes 3 or 4 hours

It basicaly comes down to what YOU want.

Better quality - less movie on a CD-R or less quality and more movie.

The best thing to do is to encode a 1 min clip using first VCD and then SVCD settings. See which you prefer.
