Has anyone tried this? If so, care to share you experiences?
Can I author 4.7GB worth of MPEG-1 files (VCD spec) onto on DVD-R?
Will it play on settop DVD players? DVD-ROM (on computer?)

you can convert your vcd into mpeg and join all the vcd disk, but vcd is half the resolution of dvd so the quality would not be as good, ulead dvd studio allows you to save video as dvd video which has a good resolution 720x576, if u join all the files on vcd it would fit as one file on a dvdr as mpeg, but no set top player would play it
