  1. How do I create mpgs, mpegs, avis, asfs, etc into a vcd format? So I can

burn and play into VCDs. What programs do I need? I've read all the

other instructions but it's too long and complicated. Can anyone break

down the process and post. I'm preparing for my summer 8)

    Please Help!!

  2. The programs you use and the steps to take depend alot on what your source video is. Go back in the "How To" column and click on the particular subject your wanting to learn. Don't try to read and then remember all that stuff. Print it out so you can have it to look at while you're doing your converting. Download the programs it says you need, get them installed on your computer the way it says to, in the same folder. Look at your print-out and go step by step. I just started this stuff too and so far my VCDs have come out pretty good. I use Kwags templates and modify them if I need to for each VCD I make.

  4. Actually the 'How To's are quite explicit and not that complicated(geez I can do it!).
All you need is here and most of it is free including Virtualdub,TMPGE and VCDEasy.

  5. Ulead DVD Movie Factory has a 30-day trial and costs only $45 after that. It's a super easy program and does a lot of automatic conversions for you (some argue you get better quality with other programs, but this program still does good work).

    Download it from: www.ulead.com
