    Hi,

    *Admin* Please feel free to move this post to another forum if you feel I've posted in the wrong place.

    I recently hired someone to video a client and myself working together on something. It now transpires that the sensor in the camera was on it's way out and all the footage has yellow stripes across it as a result - as shown below. The stripes are not static, they wander slowly up and down the screen. Is there anything anyone can suggest to repair this footage?

    TIA

  3. I would want to see a daylight outdoor scene to rule out the possibility that the shutter was out of sync with the fluorescent lights. What makes you believe the CCD is failing? In either case, this person you hired failed to deliver.

    After Effects has a color stabilize effect, and neat video claims they have plug ins to handle it. Your case is pretty severe.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the tips;

    Everything was shot indoors (in the same room even). We've done a previous shoot with the same camera in the same room with no problems. (here).

    Will have a look at AE and Neat Video.

  5. Best of luck.

    You haven't supplied anything suggesting the error was something other than an incorrect camera setting, (nor are you under any obligation to) but that's why I asked.

    If the bad video is a similar situation to your YouTube sample it may be easier to reshoot than "fix it in post."

    Unfortunately that's not possible for a number of reason's - not least that it was a one-off event.

    Hi shutter settings will produce this indoors with florescent lighting. Never shoot above 1/60
