    I have a robin on a nest just outside my shed and I want to live stream video to my laptop to view and or record.How can I do this,will a little webcam work?

    Web cams are usually USB and USB is limited to about 15 feet for cables. If you need more distance, then you would need a wired camera over coax or a wireless setup. If the camera will operate outdoors, then it would also need to be waterproof.
