Ooops, as for the original question, ......
I still prefer Flash Player to HTML5 video.
As for Pale Moon, yes, it's better than the current Firefox, granted,
but the problem is, none of them are good-enough to non-n00bs like myselfLast edited by El Heggunte; 7th Jun 2014 at 08:49. Reason: add emphasis

I still use it. Haven't had any reason to look for an alternative.

The thing i don't like about adobe software is it is bloatware and always wants to do auto updates like holding your hand.

I also just installed Pale Moon, and so far me likey. Settings transfer tool worked like a charm. Only real discrepancy I see is the search box sets up and defaults to DuckDuckGo, which is not a bad thing.

It's easy enough to set the search bar to what ever provider you want.

Every once in a while YouTube and other vids start giving me a hard time.....once per year or so. Then I go and update Firefox, then I go and update Adobe. It always takes me forever where to go (in my computer) to update Adobe Flash Player.....I bother with it so little. That's how "Un-Hip" I am I guess. I was never the one to to appear to be Super-Hip to others by denouncing EVERYTHING....Microsoft, Adobe, etc etc etc.
If the worst problem you have today is that others know you (still) use Microsoft or Adobe Flash Player or....whatever .....you're gonna have a DAMN good day.

Many HTML5 supported browsers (Chrome, Firefox, SeaMonkey, IceWeasel, Opera, PaleMoon, and many many...) will play h264, vp9 & WebM (YouTube) videos by default. Where as IE9+ & Safari may require additional plugins.
No need for Adobe Flash Player anymore. No need for keep updating every time.
While searching for HTML5 supported browsers, I have came across a few HTML5 stand alone players. But browsers are capable of playing directly.Last edited by enim; 9th Jun 2014 at 15:20.
