    Is it possible to convert bluray PGS subtiles to DVD subtitles

    Perhaps this is worth mentioning. If you use BD-Rebuilder to turn a BluRay movie only into a DVD via one of its encoding options, I can personally verify that it can convert whatever BluRay subs you wish to keep to DVD format subs. I did this with simplified Chinese subtitles so it's not just for Latin character sets either.
