You have to bother with FLAC, that's the format I get some in. Is there a way to save a file the same as it was in audacity?
There was a kid who posted in a forum; "My dad finally agreed to buy me a laptop. He said the only way he would buy it for me was that I bought it at a local store, not online. He said because if there's any problems, he wants to be able to go talk to someone in person. I agree, and have it narrowed down to two laptops. One is X and the other is Y. X has a better keyboard, while Y has a better screen.
Should I put the most important thing the keyboadr or the screen?"
I think the Dad has a very good argument about buying it locally. Well guess what? Do you know what the first answer was?
The first was; Your Dad is stupid. You should order it online. You can save $5 if you buy it online. That's what I would do.
The person answered a different question that was asked. If the question was, "Should I buy it online or at a store, the question fits, but that wasn't the question. The kid can't buy it online, it's in the question.
My orignal question was about putting mutlapul tracks as one. I asked a question, smrpix gave me a simple stright answer. "Using the time shift (double arrow) tool arrange them end to end (on a single track or multiples -- doesn't matter). File/Export...(choose your file name and type.)"
Do you realize if smrpix would of been the first answer, that would of been it? I would of answered back, It worked, thank you very much.
The name calling, insults and stuff that makes this forum not good would of never had to be said. Not using FLAC, not an option, they come like that. Fade ins, fade outs, not an option, I don't do it like that.
I try to be kind, not only because that's the way i want to be treated, but to help do my part to make these forums a good place to go for answers.
That's why I thanked "everyone who answered."

[QUOTE=happydog500;2325556] a) You missed the context of that answer.
b) Yes.
c) To your original question about saving it in the same format -- No.
d) You would have had my "nice" answer several posts earlier if you had provided more information at the beginning.
e) You're still being more intransigent than necessary, but you're welcome. Happy to help (as are most folks here.)Last edited by smrpix; 4th Jun 2014 at 16:33.
