Hello, I'm trying to figure out what the issue is. My videos play fine on my computer in different players but when uploading to youtube everything gets switched around.

I have three files that I have merged using mp4box (intro, vid, outro). The video plays in the correct order but the audio does not. The audio goes middle, last, and then nothing. The first audio file does not play at all.

Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

A quick guess would lead one to question your merging methods. Are you merging dissimilar formats, perhaps?

What's the DMTR (Detailed MediaInfo Text Readout) on this file?

Formats are all the same for all:
    track ID 1 - Audio (SR 44100 - 2 channels)
    track ID 2 - Video (size 864 x 480)

And correction I'm using mp4box not ffmpeg. I tested everything in free video joiner and everything played fine. But I have 100 vids to merge and the free video joiner just does one at a time.

    That info is not sufficient.

And here's an example of the files before merging. I batch created them so they're all pretty much the same, just different file names and pics. All my video files have the same problem:

Yes, I realized after I posted. I just needed to get the sufficient software and run it.

Ok, pretty much the same (though I would question using exactly 30pfs, and the M4V format). Now, what EXACT ffmpeg merge command did you use?

Go ahead and question it. I've got no idea what you mean. Feel free to explain instead a "vague" insult. Otherwise it's just a waste of typing.

Anyhow, like I explained above, I incorrectly stated I was using ffmpeg but I am using mp4box. And.... (drum roll!!!) I get it figured out. Forgive me for not being all technical but I figured it out by testing different variations of -force-cat, -cat, -add. I made a list of all the different combinations and ran them through the cmd and found the video with the correct output. I uploaded on to youtube to double check and it's fine.

For anyone having the same issue this worked for me:

    mp4box -force-cat -cat Movie01-Intro.mp4 -cat Movie01-Middle.mp4 -cat Movie01-Outro.mp4 -new Movie01-All.mp4

Results - videos are in the correct order, audio is synced, perfection (to me at least)

I didn't say it as an insult, but I can't stop you from taking it that way.

True 30fps is really only meant for PC-oriented, non-broadcast, consumer/hobbyist use. Anything that would get put on a regular TV OUGHT to be 29.97/59.94 in NTSC-lands.And "M4V" is not meant for an Audio+Video MP4 base media container file, it is meant for an elementary stream of MPEG4 video (either MPEG4-SP, MPEG4-ASP, or AVC/MVC). Hence, the "V".

Ok, so you used mp4box, and (clearly) didn't merge them correctly the first time (like I had guessed), but did now. I'm glad you got it working. Had you just answered that original question, we could possibly have worked through the answer with you that much quicker (and without the need for testing).

It's just a suggestion, but it has been shown time and again here that more accurate help is more quickly forthcoming when the OP provides up front a detailed and in-depth explanation of all the features & steps & background of the problem.
    (Speaking to all newbies)
