  1. just recently when converting films from avi or xvid to svcd2dvd it will only do about 15 to 20 minutes of movie. the avi or xvid plays great but will not convert any ideas.

    Try instead avs2dvd.

    svcd2dvd has not been updated in several years now.

    Not even counting the lack of updating, why would you go through that extra step (and loss of quality). SVCD is MPEG2 @ 1/2 D1 resolution. DVD is (usually) D1 resolution MPEG2. Go direct AVI/Xvid -> DVD and save yourself the time, effort & loss of quality.

    SVCD2DVD supports avi sources also. But apparently not all avis.
