    what's the best software for taking screenshots of dvds on a PC? any advice would be appreciated.

    Both PowerDVD and WinDVD can do screen captures; For PowerDVD, click on the camera icon on the toolbar; for WinDVD, press"P" to capture.
    You may need to go into the settings to specify file type, location of saved file, etc.
