  1. Hi,

I have two wma files that suddendly stop before the end.

One of them as 1.30 hours and just stops at the 1 hour mark, withou any error message it simply stops like it was all played.

The other is a 30 minutes file that stops playing at 3 minutes exactly the same way.

I tried to repair the files bue the tool i used said that no error were find.

Trying to convert the files to .mp3, makes them only with the time that is played as a wma file (Example: after conversation the 1.30 hour file only has 1 hour).

The files are really important, can someone please help me or give me a ideia of how can i recover the information?

    Thank you in avdance...

*(Sorry if my english isn't perfect)

Try remuxing with AsfBin, or ffmpeg, or SolveigMM ASF Multiplexer, or Windows Media File Editor.

If none of these works, then your files went corrupted (and unfixable too, probably).

  6. So, with Windows Media File Editor i tried to convert the file again to another wma but a list of errors appeared making the convertion impossible, with asfbin i simply add the file and did the cut/copy/join option that transformed the file to a asf file but without the minutes of the file where nothing plays.

I don't know if this operations are remuxing but yeah probably they really are unfixable.

If i'm doing the remuxing wrong please explain to me or give me a link with an how to so i can do it properly (the files really were important and i've been searching and really didn't find it, sorry), and if i'm doing it right, thanks a lot for the replies and help.

    Best regards!
