    I am wondering why would the audio & video go out of sync when I am watching Divx movie on the PC & working on something else on that PC?
    I have a PIII 500 w/256 & win2K laptop

    Are you using Windows Media Player? Sounds like your computer is too slow for playing the DivX and doing something else at the same time. Windows Media Player uses up a lot of resources. Try Global DivX player or Zoom Player. On my computer a lot of DivX movies are out of sync when I play them in Windows Media Player, but play perfectly well in other players.
