  1. hey guys, just did hunt for red october...thought i'll give you guys a heads up in case u haven't done it but r gonna do it soon

    choose track 2 in dvd2avi rather than track 1. track 1 is only 192 kbits, which normally isn't that bad...but this time (like deep impact) gives crackling noises during high-pitches

    track 2 is higher kbit and doesn't have the crackling noises

    just fyi..

  2. I had all sorts of problems ripping "Hunt". It's a multi-angle disc and DVD2AVI wouldn't accept it. Had to use DVDx in the end, although the picture quality was shite!

  3. yea...hunt for red october is an old film, plus they did a bad job with it...

    but if you use smartripper's "movie mode", there wouldn't be any problems w/ multi-angles
