Yes, it has definitely been deinterlaced to 25p and flickers during high motion shots -- as all 25p material does. Unfortunate.

I don't really recommend the ElGato Game Capture HD. You pretty much have to use the software (with it's dumbed down user interface) it comes with to capture and it's pretty CPU intensive. It does capture 1080i though.
