  1. I downloaded an internet movie with a decent picture and sound, but only as good as can be expected from a video camera in a theater. I just burned it as a vcd, but the quality is very sub par. Their is no actual problem, but the picture is of lesser quality then the already half/decent original file. Is there a good way to try and keep picture and sound at a sharper level?. I used TMpge for encoding, virtualdub for sound, and CDRWIN for burning. Any opinions?

  2. The answer is easy, increase the frame size and bit rate. But, it will not be a VCD compliant file. Your option for "no-loss" copying is making a DVD, 720x480 @ 4Mb/sec will do the trick for any video.
