Hello, everyone.
I'm trying to do a good deed and I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.
I need to superimpose subtitles on live video and output to HDMI for display on a HDTV.
The subtitles are available as text, and the live video will be captured on a HD camcorder and available through HDMI.
This is for a non-profit organization's annual dinner, the live video is from the speech, and the subtitles have the translation of the speech.
I figured I could capture de video from HDMI to a Mac, use some kind of software to superimpose the subtitles with a manual trigger, and output to HDMI from the MacBook's graphics' card.
Do you think this is feasible?
How would you go about solving this?
What hardware/software would you use?
Time is of the essence since the dinner is on Monday...
Thanks in advance for any help you might give.
Kind regards,
Rui
