    ok, i know this may sound like an odd question, but as i type this i'm working on it. long story short i have to take the lyrics out of a song and keep the music part. right now i am trying with cool edit, and its not going to well. does any one have any suggestions or ideas. thanks guys.

    i do this all the time, works like a champ. I would suggest that you use a program like sound forge by sonic foundry.
