    :cry: recently download a asf format movie..dunno y i cant rewind or forward it.guys pls help!!!

    I believe that asf format is intended for streaming over the internet and therfore the format is not intended for fast forward/rewind. Because of this the format designers left keyframes optional. Any movie encoded without keyframes cannot be fast forwarded/rewound/jumped as the player has no refernce point and each frame depends on the previous ones. If you really want to be able to jump about, use vdub or someother tool to convert the format.
