I am frameserving a 18 min. video presentation I made in Premiere to TMPGenc. My final product will be a SVCD.
I would like to know what is the smallest size I can output from Premiere and still get real nice quality. Right now I am output at 640x480 but TMPGenc is telling me that it is going to take 25 HOURS!! to finish. I only have one real graphic transistions and it only last 5 secs. The rest of my transistion are nothing more than 1 sec cross fades.
Also while there is something I haven't been able to figure out. My Premiere project is 640x480. I have the Ligo LSX SVCD codec but it will only let me output my project at 480X480. The problem is that when I output my project useing LSX all the titles on the picture are moved down on the page because of outputing at 480x480. Any ideas on how to output my project without LSX messing up the layout?
I am running a PIII866 /512 ram /60gig ATA100 HD /Win98
