can someone give me a tutorial for burning bridget jones diary to a 4.7gb disc.
its about 6.33 gb
have tried the tutorials in here but apart from waiting 24 hours to convert the movie is there another way

I think people are wanting to see more info given. What source are you trying to convert from, what programs are you trying to use to do it, what media are you trying to convert to?
Maybe I'm really new to the computer world or just ignorant, but I didn't know they had such large capacity discs available, unless you're talking about burning a DVD. -
hi yes i am trying to burn a dvd disc.
i have a 4.7gb disc and a pioneer burner but as i said bridget jones diary is 6.33gb
anyone know how to make this smaller without having to wait 24 hours

its from the actual dvd disc mine has a few marks on it so i ripped it to my pc using smart ripper so i have everything from the actual dvd disc onto my pc
but its a good 2gb too big how do i fit this all on 2 1 disc
i understand i will have to lessen the quality the movie is but thats ok

if your trying to just store it try real media if your trying to make a vcd... i cant help you ... i just kinda started on that subject... but im learning quckly and will help you as soon as i can

confused, correct me if i'm wrong:
Hey guys he's already said that he ripped a DVD to his HD. That means the vob's are on his HD. He would like to burn the vob's onto another (blank) DVD. His blank DVD is 4.7 Gigs. His data is 6.33 gigs. Confused would like to compress his 6.33 gigs of data onto his (blank) 4.7 gig DVD (~= 25% compression).
Any one done this?
