    Have some avi files that I cannot get to open in either TMPGEnc or Panasonic. Have tried on both Win2k and WinXP Pro.

    The catch is this - I can get them to play perfectly in Windows Media Player.

    Tried divxfix and it did nothing for me. Already have the divx codecs installed. Though cant get nemo.

    Incidentally, this is not the case for all avi files - just most of them.

    What is the source of the AVI files? A video editing program? Kazaa? mIRC?
